Janet Borton, LNHA, Executive Director Please use the search function to find our employment application
I graduated from the College of Mount St. Joseph with a bachelor's degree in Aging Services Administration and I am a licensed nursing home administrator. My interest in elder care goes all the way back to my first paid job which was sitting with an elderly neighbor.
I have been married to my husband, Charlie, for 41 years and we currently live with a spoiled dog, Archie (a mutt who jumped into our car one day and took over!). We have two daughters, one son, and five outstanding grandchildren. I love to swim, read, and spend time with the grandkids.
Heather Cryns, Director of Nursing
Since childhood, I have wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. I graduated from Fortis College with my associates degree in nursing. I am also currently continuing my education by pursuing a master's degree in nursing administration and management. I have previously worked in long-term care and home health. My primary interest in healthcare is caring for elderly individuals - especially ladies!
I have been married to my husband seven years, and we have two daughters, Sonya and Saphire. My daughters, husband and I enjoy playing soccer and spending time outside.
Rowena Norris, Administrative Assistant
I have been an administrative assistant for over 25 years - with Covington Ladies Home for 8 years. I enjoy my work as administrative assistant; especially, with the added bonus of interacting with the ladies who live at CLH.
I live in Northern Kentucky with my cat, Skeeter. I have one son and and two grandsons! I like antiques and floral arranging for weddings for friends and family.
Donna Vitucci, Development Director
I have worked in development and fund raising for fifteen years, and at the Ladies Home since 2013. I live in the Licking Riverside Historic neighborhood, just a block and a half from Covington Ladies Home, so I can easily walk to my office- which I often do.
I love working at CLH, especially the interactions I have with the ladies and the caregivers.
Kadei Spaulding, Social Worker
It has been a wondrous time since I started working at Covington Ladies Home. I always joke that I’m not quitting until I move in.
I started as an activities assistant/nursing aide. Since then, I’ve completed my bachelor’s degree in social work at Northern Kentucky University, and I am licensed in the state of Kentucky. I am passionate about helping people, and I pride myself on being someone the ladies can depend on.
I married my high school sweetheart, Jeremy, and we have a wonderful son named Ethan. Both occasionally swing by the home to play a game or cook with the ladies.
Nancy Anderson, Activities Director
I have been involved in senior citizen activities for over 15 years. My training and education is in Secondary Education from the University of Cincinnati and Adult & Community Education from Arizona State University. I enjoy the variety and challenge of keeping the residents active in mind and body.
Outside the workplace, I enjoy reading, walking and various sports. I live in Cincinnati.
Todd Riek, Dietary Manager
I attended the University of Cincinnati for some years, studying Biology and Psychology, but my heart was in the food and beverage industry, so I completed the Culinary Program at the Midwest Culinary Institute in May, 2013. I have been working as a chef ever since. I landed the most fulfilling job of my career in August 2014 when I came on board at the Covington Ladies Home. This job epitomizes the gratification of the culinary arts.
I have been a Covington resident since 1999, and a resident of Old Seminiary Square since 2004. I live with my best gal, Brenda and 4 dogs and 2 cats. "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to share it."
